Phoibos' necropsy
Although we did suspect a gastric outlet obstruction of some kind
it was never diagnosed until the necropsy revealed the cause of his
problems.

The lower part of the stomach and the pyloric channel has been opened
revealing the prepyloric growth, just in front of the
pylorus(P), making it difficult to empty the stomach.
There was also another small growth imbedded in fat (arrow) and attached to the outside of the stomach.
Another finding was this collection of clear fluid in the quadrate lobe of the liver.
